We had special lecturers, Youngcho Hwang, Olympic Gold Medalist (Barcelona Olympics, 1992) and Joel Monkarsh, the General Secretary of the World Recreation Educational Association on the certificate training course organized by the REC and hosted by the WREA.
Dr. Hwang, a Marathon Gold Medalist, made a speech about his passion, the challenges, triggering motivation, and dreams, based on his actual experience for self-development and potential power development. Everyone was very touched and impressed by him.
Joel Monkarsh’s speech helped trainees understand the leisure and recreational culture and the background of the world. This also helped them to qualify as global leaders in their related field.
